Oriental Bath House (Hamam)

Oriental Bath House is situated in city center more exactly in Dada Gorgud square in front of “Tabriz” hotel. Native people call this bath house as Ismail khan bath house in honor of Ismail khan from dynasty of Nakhchivan khans. Oriental bath house played an important role in daily life of the people of Nakhchivan and became the place for cleaning as well as meeting, conversation, recreation and therapy.
The building of the bath house constructed in the 18th century oriental architectural style consists of entrance, serving hall, a laundry room with a washbasin, a treasure-box and a boiler room.
The bath house was overhauled and renovated in 2005.
