The Memorial Museum was created in 2000 to perpetuate the memory of the victims of the genocide committed by Armenians, the memory of the Nakhchivan people who died in the battle for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. The exposition of the museum is arranged in chronological order. The exposition included mass genocide acts committed by Armenians in 1905-1907, 1918-1920, deportation of Azerbaijanis from their homeland in 1948-1953, tragedy of January 20, 1990, Khojaly on February 26, 1992 is rich in exhibits reflecting the genocide. There are exhibits in the museum bringing visitors, documents, events and historical facts to the visitors, reflecting the atrocities committed by Armenians in Nakhchivan and other regions. The museum displays photographs and personal belongings reflecting the battlefield of our compatriots who were killed during the defense of our lands in the 1990s.
