Imamzadeh Complex in Nakhchivan city

Imamzadeh Complex situated in south part of Nakhchivan mainly consists of a tomb. There is a grave in the tomb. According to the citizens, son of imam Rza- the 8th imam was buried in this grave.
Formerly there was an inscription on the wall of the tomb. In accordance with the inscription explored by researchers in the early 20th century, the tomb was built by the order of Haji Rufai bey – son of Haji Fulad bey during the tenure (1722-1732) of Safavid ruler Abu Muzaffar shah Tahmasib.
Imamzadeh Complex was highly restored in 2018.
